GENERAL CONVENTION ON THE
PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES OF THE OAU
The Assembly of Heads of State and government meeting in it Second Ordinary
Session in Accra, Ghana, from 21 to 25 October 1965,
Having considered the report of the Secretary-General AHG/8 concerning the
accession of Member States to the General Convention on Privileges and Immunities of
the Organization of African Unity,
Decides that the adoption by the Heads of State and Government of the General
Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the OAU implies its immediate
implementation pending ratification by the rest of the Member States of the
Organization of African Unity.
