TAKES NOTE of the recommendations of the Executive Council for the consideration and adoption of the Draft African Charter on Statistics; 2. ADOPTS the African Charter on Statistics; 3. CALLS ON Member States to sign and ratify the African Charter on Statistics as expeditiously as possible so as to enable the Charter to enter into force, and thus provide a regulatory framework for statistics development in the Continent.
