RESOLUTION ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN
THE ECA AND THE OAU
The Assembly of Heads of State and Government meeting in its Second Ordinary
Session in Accra, Ghana, from 21 to 25 October 1965,
Considering the need for a more detailed study concerning the question of the
relationship between the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the
Organization of African Unity,
1. DECIDES to re-include the item in the agenda of its next Session;
2. REQIESTS the Administrative Secretary-General to undertake further
studies in this question and to circulate the results to Member States at least
one month before the next Ordinary Session of the council of Ministers.
