Assembly/AU/Dec.557(XXIV) DECISION ON FAST TRACKING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMITMENTS FOR ACCELERATING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION GOALS IN AFRICA Doc. Assembly/AU/16(XXIV) The Assembly, 1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, on the Kigali Action Plan for Fast Tracking the Implementation of the July 2008 Assembly Declaration, and actualising the Africa Water Vision 2025; and ENDORSES the Action Plan, the Strategy for Resources Mobilisation and Implementation, and the Roadmap; 2. REQUESTS the Commission to coordinate the implementation of the Action Plan, and to report on the progress of implementation of Decision Assembly/AU/Dec.516(XXII) to the January 2016 Ordinary Session of the Assembly.
