Assembly/AU/Dec.174 (X) DECISION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN AFRICAN EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FUND The Assembly: 1. TAKES NOTE of the decision of the Executive Council on the Establishment of an African Education, Science and Technology Fund; 2. AUTHORIZES the establishment of an African Education, Science and Technology Fund; 3. REQUESTS the AU Commission and the African Development Bank to expedite the creation of the Fund by 2009.
