Assembly/AU/Dec.620 (XXVII) Page 1 DECISION ON THE DATES AND VENUE OF THE 28TH ORDINARY SESSION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE AFRICAN UNION The Assembly, 1. 2. DECIDES that the dates of the Twenty-Eighth Ordinary Session of the Assembly which will be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the theme “Harnessing Demographic Dividend through investments in the Youth” shall be the following: i) Thirty-third (33rd) Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC):23, 24 and 25 January 2017; ii) Thirtieth (30th) Ordinary Session of the Executive Council: 26, 27 and 28 January 2017; iii) Twenty-Eighth (28th) Ordinary Session of the Assembly: 30 and 31 January 2017. REQUESTS the Commission to put in place all the necessary measures in order to organize the Twenty-Eighth (28) Ordinary Session of the Assembly as well as the preparatory meetings of the Executive Council and the PRC according to the aforementioned dates.
