ENDORSES the recommendations of the 4th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council in March 2004 to retain the Emblem and Flag of the former OAU and adopt them as the new AU Flag and Emblem; 2. DECIDES to select the Rearranged (revised) version of the Anthem of the former OAU as the new AU Anthem; 3. ACKNOWLEDGES and thanks all those who submitted entries to the AU Symbols Competitions as well as the Panel of Judges.
