ALSO INVITES bilateral and multilateral partners to actively participate in the donors conference on the Action Plan of the Environment Initiative of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development to be held in Algiers, in December 2003; 6. FURTHER INVITES the African Ministerial Conference on Environment and the Secretariat of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility, the development banks including the African Development Bank, the United Nations Environment Programme, to play a leading role in mobilizing additional financial resources for the implementation of the Action Plan of the Environment Initiative of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development and its associated projects.
