Assembly/AU/Dec.278(XIV) DECISION ON THE DATE AND VENUE OF THE FIFTEENTH ORDINARY SESSION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE AFRICAN UNION The Assembly, 1. RECALLS its earlier acceptance of the invitation by the Republic of Uganda to host the Fifteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly in Kampala during the Eleventh Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Union held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from 30 June to 1 July 2008; 2. REITERATES its appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Uganda, for its offer to host the Fifteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly; 3. ACCEPTS the dates proposed by the Republic of Uganda and the Commission for the holding of the Summit meetings in Kampala as follows: i) 19 to 20 July 2010: Twentieth Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee; ii) 22 to 23 July 2010: Seventeenth Ordinary Session of the Executive Council; iii) 25 to 27 July 2010: Fifteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly.
