WELCOMES the invitation extended to the Chairperson of the African Union by the current Chairman of the G8 to participate in the July 2009 Summit of the G8 to be held in l’Aquila, Italy; 2. MANDATES the Chairperson of the African Union to speak before the G8 Summit on behalf of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
