Assembly/AU/Dec.506(XXII) DECISION ON THE BIENNIAL JOINT AU/WHO CONFERENCE OF THE AFRICAN UNION MINISTERS OF HEALTH The Assembly 1. TAKES NOTE of the recommendations of the Executive Council on the report of the 6th session of the conference of the African Union Ministers of Health; 2. ENDORSES the holding of biennial Joint AU/WHO Conference of African Ministers of Health; 3. CALLS UPON Member States, RECs, Regional Health Organizations and other stakeholders to utilize the biennial meetings strengthen coordination and create synergies; 4. REQUESTS the Commission to work out modalities of holding the biennial conference of African Union Ministers of Health.
