TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Extraordinary Conference of African Ministers of Economy and Finance (CAMEF), held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 14 January 2009; 2. FURTHER TAKES NOTE of the Study on Development of a Roadmap and Plan of Action for Micro-Finance in Africa; 3. ENDORSES the recommendations of the Extraordinary Conference of CAMEF on Development of Micro-Finance in Africa; 4. REQUESTS the Commission to deepen the study on Development of a Roadmap and Plan of Action for Micro-Finance in Africa, and draw on Member States’ experiences in this area; 5. ALSO REQUESTS the Commission to undertake a feasibility study on the creation of a Guarantee Fund for development of micro-finance in Africa.
