and social co-operation making use of rational co-operation with ECA and the
various organizations working in Africa;
3. FULLY SUPPORTS the multi-national experiments in economic and social cooperation such as those that are now being carried out in some geographical areas
in the framework of waterway agreements and others;
4. DECIDES to adopt the recommendations of the joint OAU/ECA meetings in the
trade and development and transport and telecommunication sectors, as they were
submitted in report CM/132 by the Administrative Secretary-General;
5. DECIDES to co-ordinate the positions of African leaders in order to guarantee the
success of the Second World Conference on Trade and Development , both with
respect to solidarity among developing countries and to negotiations among the
latter and industrialized countries;
6. URGENTLY REQUESTS all Member States to make available to the General
Secretariat information and reports which are essential to the preparation of the
general surveys required by the Specialized Commission.
