FURTHER CALLS UPON the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as the host of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) to ensure that adequate networks are established in Africa, where they are needed most for effective technology development, transfer and capacity building; 8. URGES Member States to ratify the Doha Amendments to the Kyoto Protocol for the Second Commitment Period to enhance reduction of emission of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs); 9. REQUESTS the Commission, UNECA / ACPC and AfDB and other Partners to continue to support the AGN in the global Climate Change negotiations under the political guidance of AMCEN and CAHOSCC.
