Welcomes the convening of the Summit of African Heads of State and Government in Abuja, Nigeria, on 14 November 2004, and expresses its support for the decisions taken on that occasion; 3. Takes note and supports the call for the early convening of a meeting of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union at the level of Heads of State and Government to review developments in Côte d’Ivoire and agree on the steps to be taken to contribute to the restoration of lasting peace and security in that country.
