PSC/PR/COMM.3(CLXXVII) Page 1  Communiqué of the 177th Meeting of the Peace and Security Council The Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU), at its 177th meeting held on 11 March 2009, adopted the following decisions: Council:   1. Decides that the Chairperson of the Peace and Security Council for the month of March 2009 shall represent the Council at the consideration for the Prodi Panel Report at the UN Security Council on 18 March 2009. The Chairperson will be accompanied by the Commissioner for Peace and Security and the Secretary of the Council; 2. Decides that the Chairperson of the Peace and Security Council shall represent the Council in international meetings on peace and security issues in Africa. The PSC shall determine which international meetings the Chairperson of the PSC will attend; 3. Decides that the Commission shall submit to the Chairperson of the PSC of each month a financial report on peace and security issues, including contributions from AU partners; 4. Requests the Commission to take necessary measures to facilitate the implementation of these decisions.
