Assembly/AU/Dec.73 (V) DECISION ON THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF THE CONFERENCE OF AFRICAN MINISTERS OF ECONOMY AND FINANCE (CAMEF) (EX.CL/180 (VII) The Assembly: 1. TAKES NOTE of the Report; 2. ENDORSES the Report and the Declaration of the First Conference of Ministers of Economy and Finance; 3. DECIDES to institutionalize this Conference which will meet once a year; 4. MANDATES the Commission, in collaboration with the Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the African Development Bank (ADB), the United Nations Commission for Africa (UNECA) and development partners, to ensure the preparation of this Conference and report to it at its annual sessions.
