Assembly/AU/Dec.175 (X) DECISION ON THE ACTION PLAN FOR THE ACCELERATED INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA – DOC.EX.CL/378 (XII) The Assembly: 1. ENDORSES the Action Plan for the Accelerated Development of Africa; 2. REQUESTS the Commission to disseminate the Action Plan and organize, in collaboration with the Regional Economic Communities (RECs), Regional Development Banks, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), the African Development Bank (AfDB), the World Bank , the European Investment Bank (EIB), IFC, the United Nations Organization for Industry (UNIDO) and other interested partners, regional meetings in Africa, that involve the participation of all industrial development stakeholders, for the effective implementation of the Action Plan; 3. DIRECTS that the outcome of the regional meetings and regular progress reports on the operationalization of the Action Plan be presented to Council.
