Assembly/AU/Dec.155 (VIII) DECISION ON THE REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF TEN ON THE REFORM OF THE UNITED NATIONS The Assembly: 1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Committee of Ten on the Reform of the United Nations which met on the 28th January 2007; 2. FURTHER TAKES NOTE of the fact that no new development has taken place to affect the Common African Position on the Reform of the United Nations as enshrined in the EZULWINI CONSENSUS and the SIRTE DECLARATION; 3. REQUESTS the Committee of Ten on the United Nations Reform to continue consultations with a view to promote and secure support for the Common African Position as mandated by the 6th Ordinary Session of the Assembly in Khartoum, The Sudan in January 2006.
