Council reiterated its strong condemnation of such acts, and demanded that an investigation be carried out into these allegations and that necessary measures be taken against the perpetrators. Council stressed the need to end impunity in CAR. Council commended the Special Envoy of the Chairperson of the Commission for Women, Peace and Security, for her dedicated efforts in support of the CAR women. Council reiterated its appreciation to the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the Commission and Head of the AU Mission in the CAR and for Central Africa (MISAC), for his sustained action in support of the stabilization process in the CAR. Council also acknowledged the important role played by the Special Representative of the UN SecretaryGeneral and Head of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the CAR (MINUSCA), the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the UN Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA), as well as by the Special Representatives of the International Mediator in the CAR crisis and of the ECCAS Secretary-General.
