Assembly/AU/Dec.398(XVIII) Page 1 DECISION ON THE THEME, DATE AND VENUE OF THE NINETEENTH ORDINARY SESSION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE AFRICAN UNION The Assembly, 1. RECALLS its Decision Assembly/AU/Dec.368(XVII) adopted by its Seventeenth Ordinary Session in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, in July 2011, to have (1) theme per year; 2. DECIDES that the dates of the Nineteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly to be held in Lilongwe, Malawi in June/July 2012, will be determined through consultations between the host country, the Chairperson of the Union and the Commission and shall be communicated to Member States as soon as possible.
